I believed that was covered by "a true dual-purpose qb who can read defenses."

I would have loved to have seen Jordan Johnson play under Stitt's system. That is the type of QB he needs

JJ would have killed defenses with Stitt's offense.

I'm not certain JJ had the arm strength for this offense.

Don't get me wrong, he's an all-time Griz great. But the long ball and the sideline routes to the field side were not his strength.

Makes the fact that Nyguen had a few 100 + yd games all the more remarkable. Hard to execute consistently, zone read, when one of the elements, QB running - is non-existent. Wonder if Stitt will rework some of the strategy if he sees Brady as the guy go forward. I wouldn't want to be a RB in this offense.

Ok pile on the qb all you want but the NDSU defense knew when the ball would be snapped. They had studied the tape and knew the signal. That allowed them to be that much quicker and pressure the qb that much more.
Maybe the coaching staff should change the signal from game to game.

When a consistent 4-man front can stop the run as effectively as NDSU did, that makes for a long day....dropping 6-7 into coverage every play...
