MBBALL 6’10 Mpiana transfers in

Badly needed --I know Travis was a great GRIZ guard and he loves guards , but we also need some altitude and beef since Te Jon is graduating !!!
Te was a solid offensive big.
Unfortunately not a paint or rebounding presence. Oke often got 7 boards and some 10 rebound games.

It seems like the GRIZ usually have plenty of scorers from outside and or penetrators. The GRIZ usually are inconsistent with rebounding and paint protection.

Why do I feel like coach Trav will sit this guy on the bench all year :ROFLMAO: J/K(sort of). Man what an intriguing prospect Mpiana is. Cant think of a BIG that we have had who can run and jump and has length like this. It feels to good to be true. LOVE this signing.
Funny and ironic you say this.
Everytime the GRIZ sign a 6'8" plus post, I immediately ask, will he play much?

He will play. How much? Who knows, but it doesn't seem like you have much of a choice if the other team has a serviceable big man. As the season goes on, you may be talking about his development, shooting, foul problems, turn overs, and many other things that go along with playing freshmen big men. Weber will be in that same boat with quite a few players.

Two of the best rebounders in NBA history were 6'7" and 6'6", in Rodman and Barkley. It is attitude, so honestly as much as I would love a 6'10" glass cleaner and defensive presence, I'd take a 6'7" with an attitude.
Art Steward.

They listed Barkley as 6'6'', but I was told by an insider that he is much closer to 6'4''.
