Missouri State plays UT Martin tonight on ESPN plus. Might be a good chance to see if Missouri state is the real deal.
Saw highlights of the UT Martin game. They certainly had a potent offense against Western Illinois, and won handily (42-25). However, after looking at the stats, I'd have to say their defense could be suspect. West-IL put up over 400 yards of offense ... they just couldn't punch it in for scores. (Pretty much a totally new coaching staff for them, BTW.)Griz til I die said:I watched their game against Central Arkansas last week, and for the most part I thought they looked pretty good, with the exception of their Oline. My god, their Oline got beat up the entire game. Maybe it was just first game jitters, or schematically something that UCA was doing that was causing them problems, but man they did not look good. Even Sam Herder commented about that on Twitter. That could be a major problem for them this year if they can't figure it out soon.

Was the Mo St QB as good as advertised?
Unfortunately - I missed the game.

I thought he was awesome. Went 19-24 for 297 and 5 TDs….3 of those to his receiver Scott, who also looked awesome. He definitely dropped some dimes.
