Somehow appropriate that the Griz scored 49 points to usher Delaware out of the FCS, as that's the number of points they scored to defeat the Griz in the 1993 playoffs.
 
37 to make a statement and destroy the Cats, then 49 to enact vengeance on the Hens. What are we thinking against Furman, numerologists? Last time they met, it was also on a Friday and 13 points was the lucky number for the win...
 
Flashback 22 years ago. Close game, Griz up 13-0. Last play, pass play by Furman, two Griz defenders were celebrating the win BEFORE THE PLAY WAS OVER. Their stupidity resulted in the Furman TD with no time remaining. 13-6. Anything less than 13-0 would be a letdown.

Anyone remember who those two were?
