I’m gonna withhold judgement. Seems like this season every time they appear to have turned a corner they run into some other brick wall.

I fear a loss to MSU and an early exit from Boise….

I tell you, I saw another gear, more confidence, and edge from this team in the final 10 minutes against PSU. Something clicked. Bannan kept his will, desire, confidence etc, but finally allowed other teammates step up. Beasley, Martin, and Whitney didn't shy away from the moment. I saw the team mature down the stretch. At the very least, I saw enough to know, they have an edge and confidence within them. Now, the trick is keeping it.

Yes, but I’m more worried about the team I saw in the FIRST 10 minutes of the 2nd half. lazy passes. Throwing the ball away unforced. Ill-advised drives into the key. No movement. Standing around waiting for someone else to do something. Picking up the dribble while IN the key, then getting called for 3 seconds. Missing layups.

THAT team shows up way, way too often. And against even mediocre teams (see NAU, ISU), it can KILL any chance of success. Against Weber, MSU, EWU or SUU it’ll be a sure-fire early exit.

Brannon made his first triple OF 2022! Had it not been for the soft rims he would have been 0 for 2022. But Josh is a budding star and if he can get his outside shot in to the 35/40% range we’ll be talking about him in the same breath as Larry K.
I agree with the poster who said the players who screen need to hold for another 2 seconds at least and then release.
One win against a team we haven’t closed out in a single season in 4 years is a big plus but by no means are we over the hump yet. The jury is still out.
Cam Parker has kind of hit the wall and it’s obvious from his tentative moves. Last night he had 5 uncharacteristic turnovers.
Robbie Beasley was on a different planet and it was great to see his confidence beyond the arc. Carter-Hollinger still seems to struggling a bit although his enthusiasm is contagious. I feel he still struggles with confidence and maybe over thinks the game rather than letting the game come to him.
I liked the fact that Mac Andersen did not start even though it was because of injury the team seemed to be more energized. We’ll need him against Belo of MSU. I give him until the half to foul out. Nothing against him it’s just his nature to protect the rim at all costs which usually results in a foul. For Mac I wish the coaching staff had someone who would have worked with him on his overall game because he could have been a difference maker. He runs the floor exceptionally well for his size and he moves pretty well but his overall game is not where it could have been.
That’s my assessment for what it’s worth.

Mack has worked with Quale every Summer, not much seemed to have rubbed off.

Terrific 1st half. Terrible start to the 2nd half. By the way, There's not even 50 students at the game. It's a ghost town in the student area.

Until UM decides to play a more complete game, the attendance will continue to drop, i think. There has to be more than just passing the ball on the perimeter and hoping they can get Bannon to score.

BS. The Students are lame!!!!!!!!!! Maybe the team would play more inspired with a rowdy fan-base. Which came first-The chicken or the egg?

Anderson apparently couldn't play, but he sent his fouls. I really enjoyed watching Portland's #2, Burke?. He looks just like Riff Raff from Rocky Horror Picture Show.

LOL, nice comments on all regards.
