41-35

…make free throws…
Both did. Total of 44 fouls called between the two teams, with time for several more. :(

Edit: The two teams scored 161 points between them. Of those, 52 were foul shots (32%). Ridiculous.

But, as usual, a win is a win.

I feel like I’m watching the collapse of the season in real time.

Don't worry about it. This team is young and TD is doing the best he can with the hand he was dealt.

Now where have I heard that before?

Anderson apparently couldn't play, but he sent his fouls. I really enjoyed watching Portland's #2, Burke?. He looks just like Riff Raff from Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Wow, he actually came up with a new take just so he could complain.

Just making a joke of someone else's comment. But thanks for noticing.

Ps plays a very uptempo gams with press from end to end. Once again these refs refused to let the ticky tack fouls go. I’ve come to the conclusion they get paid by the foul. Which means their looking for early retirement. There must have been at least 50 total called. PS has some very quick guards and we were caught flat footed several times. Don’t even want to talk turnovers. How does a team win committing 24 turnovers, by out rebounding by at least 17 boards. I think we ended up with 10 for 17 from 3. Beasley had six and Lionel had 4.

Yep, just so you could make a passive aggressive attempt at complaining.

Ya, cause you're full up support. Not sure what you're beef is with me but don't be a douche.

1. Good god we’ve got the biggest babiest, whiniest entitled, spoiled fan base in America.

2. bsc officiating is a fucking joke.

3. Good win.

1st of all, terrific win. To overcome, 20+ turnovers, to 6 turnovers for a win is amazing in itself. Last year's Griz would have folded. Credit this team for overcoming adversity to get the W. They really had no business winning this game. As bad as the turnovers were, the W has to be built on. That's a huge positive.

More positives: rebounding, perimeter shooting, assists, and possibly finding a cut throat 3 point shooter. In this game, Beasley was just what the Dr ordered! Bannan was terrific too. Lonnell Martin and Whitney, came up big too. Those 4 played with confidence offensively. They collectively stepped up, when the team was down.

My hope, DeCuire lets this team go to the hot hand or hands going forward. I hope, all the players catch the confidence bug. Meaning, to confidently make plays. I really hope we see Vazquez and Owens get back their games. Owens at least looks comfortable. Vazquez looks lost, without confidence or an edge.

I'm 100% confident, that's the last time the GRIZ have over 15 turnovers in a game this season. I saw a collective team swagger, in the final 10 minutes of this game. They found a few missing ingredients through adversity.

I know, I've recently been a little harsh on this team. However, I've got to give them credit in this game. This may turn out to be the game that saves the season. I'm proud of them

Finally, guys make contact on screens and maintain your position through contact! They're releasing from screen position before contact is made. Hence, not accomplishing the purpose of the screen.

Moving forward, keep that confidence on offense!

I’m gonna withhold judgement. Seems like this season every time they appear to have turned a corner they run into some other brick wall.

I fear a loss to MSU and an early exit from Boise….

I tell you, I saw another gear, more confidence, and edge from this team in the final 10 minutes against PSU. Something clicked. Bannan kept his will, desire, confidence etc, but finally allowed other teammates step up. Beasley, Martin, and Whitney didn't shy away from the moment. I saw the team mature down the stretch. At the very least, I saw enough to know, they have an edge and confidence within them. Now, the trick is keeping it.
