UM has 4 turnovers: 3 interceptions and 1 fumble, in 8 games. 1st in nation.
For a team, that is awesome. Wish it translated into more victories. Hopefully we can pull out at least 3 of the next 4.

What Player is trying to say is, we are 1 or 2 turnovers away from never winning another game in the big sky.

Its very very very difficult to lose 3 of 8 games with 4 total turnovers... 3 losses and 4 turnovers wow it IS worse than we all thought ugggh

Or... it's not the # of teams you beat, but rather the quality of the teams that you were able to take the ball from, even though you still lost.

According to the season stats on gogriz.com, Griz have scored 49 points off 6 fumbles and 5 interceptions. Our opponents have scored 30 points off 1 fumble and 3 interceptions.

Curiously, opponents are scoring 7.5 points on each Griz turnover. :?:

Poorgriz, I wouldn't get too high and mighty on the whole "quality win" or can't beat a quality opponent just yet thing. MSU hasn't done it yet either. Personally, I think the Cats WILL beat Cal Poly, but it hasn't happened yet.

The Cats have wins over BHSU (D2, same as Griz n Central Washington), Central Arkansas (NR, same as South Dakota), North Dakota (Same as Griz), UC Davis (Same as Griz). Sacramento State (Also NR, We'll see what happens this weekend), Weber State (NR, and 0-8 and hasn't won a game in nearly two years).

As for quality losses, we'll see, Cats have EWU, Griz have NDSU. Pretty much a wash.

Agree. In fact I am very concerned about out chances of going in there and coming out with the win. I think it will go down to the wire, but I wouldn't put any $$ on it. No, my post was purely an effort to dig on PR for his goofy comment last year about how important it was to look at the "quality losses" that the griz suffered.
