Absolutely - he has done that a lot this year and it has worked many times.

But it's not today and adjustments are not being made.

Problem now is this: we don't have time for long, sustained drives....we need a couple big shots pretty quick. Only 12 minutes left.

Huh- interesting perspective. Last I recall, short of a few 4th quarter garbage td's, Eastern knocked the snot out of the Griz.

Completely understand that. And kudos to the Griz for beating the Cats.....however, to suggest that CC would beat Eastern, or your implication that the Griz are a better team than EWU is - well, almost as funny as all the Griz fans whining about the refs screwing the Griz and costing you the game.

Especially after all those years of teams getting screwed in wa-Griz......that makes me happy.

CC is an all around good team. Special teams put us at the 6. Give credit where it's due. CC is a very good, well coached team.

Yes. Was thinking earlier JJ was having hard time throwing due to weak arm/cold/small hands - but he has thrown down field since. He is just having an off day. Poor reads, poor execution. The defensive side of the ball is even less effective. IMO, more to do with coaching abilities.

No matter who is to blame for all the BS long passes, we need a staff that emphasizes the importance of looking off the long pass now and then. That is all on coaching. If coaches wanted it to stop, they could put a stop to it.

By the way, Al Groh has been dead on his comments. He is a great analyst. Former Jets and Virginia coach. I wonder if he would be interested in getting back? I would not mind having him here.
