3 Hidden Recruiting Gems (Mick, Pittman & Sain)

The last thing my son heard before holidays is that they were waiting to get new staff in place then they would put his film back on board. I'll be glad when the dead period is over.

the mick kids tape is exceptional and reminds me of the turner tape.....i hope we can get him even though we are in real need of defensive backs imo.....the kid is tough and wants to punish guys, his attitude is just what hauck looks for.... also, from what i can glean form social media, he wants to be a griz real bad, aslo a very good thing.

Well, good for him. The SDSU transfer was probably the nail in the coffin, so to speak...then again, Hauck may not (and probably wasn’t) have been giving him the time of day.

All three of these players traveled to Montana in the summer and were very interested in being a Griz player. Their Twitter pages were very positive about UM and their desire to play at UM. Someone is going to get a steal with these three, I hope Hauck and crew take another look... as these dudes seem to have been lost in the shuffle with the new coaching staff.

Noah Mick is a typical FB with bruising runs, but surprisingly fast.
Cole Pittman is a tackling magnet, always around the ball and getting involved.
Cole Sain, I believe was about to verbal when the coaching change happened.

Noah Mick
Millard North HS Omaha, NE
6'0" 200 FB
Evaluation: Mick is a punishing back that plays fullback in the Millard North offense. He is not afraid to take on tacklers and finishes blocks. With a 4.55-second 40-yard dash and 36-inch vertical jump, Mick is a threat catching passes out of the backfield as well.

Saw that. You can have the quitter.

Kidding, good player in my opinion. Not sure what he didn’t like about UM.

Offensive lineman Cole Sain, whose father and uncle played for the Cats in the 1980s, transfers from Riverside (California) Community College

Sain arrives with three years of eligibility. The 6-4, 280-pound offensive lineman redshirted at Montana in 2018 before transferring to Riverside. Originally from Bellflower, California, the St. John Bosco High graduate played on Riverside's 13-0 state title team in 2019.
