In the eyes of the law is one thing.

In the eyes of our beloved local media it doesn't matter if they broke the law or not. They are already guilty.

Therein lies the problem. Also, as an open felony case, all three are denied participant approval by the NCAA.

If they would have been home at 3 a.m. after getting their asses kicked on the field earlier in the day, the local media wouldn't be a factor.

I certainly agree with that.

They went to a house party, took something as a Halloween prank and some dipshit called the police. Nonevent.
I'm just helping this get to 17 pages a little faster

I think Engstrom should tell Haslam to fire Stitt, and when he refuses he should fire them both. You know, be consitent.

Did Stitt reinstate them and go on TV telling how great they are without clearing it with his superiors....

Ask the young kids in the house they willfully entered, who were severely traumatized, how they feel about Grizzly football.

Really? What was in the house that they wanted so badly? I'm guessing its not something that should be in a house with young kids. Just a hunch.

Has Stitt known any of these kids since they were 9 years old and does he know they are not guilty?

I cant help but think that some how, in some small way this might be partially my fault. God stopped by yesterday to watch the game with me. He's a big Griz fan you know, Prukop found out just yesterday. Any way, I digress. After we knocked back a couple of beers, God asked what would I do to make the Griz better. And I said, God,I would like to see Schmaing get DOLA in the worst way. He hasnt been blocking worth a hoot this year, he needs your help Lord. The next time Counts is behind him I want Schmaing to go DOLA on everyone, just lay them out flat. As for Counts, I said to God, he needs to learn to lower his shoulder and drop a hurt on the first person to cross his path. Go all Adrian Peterson on the fools. Then I told God that I wasnt sure if KVA was going to get drafted. It might help his draft stock if his open field tackling got nasty, as in George Thorogood nasty, the kind that shakes the house to the foundation and makes the house party go wtf was that??? God asked me if I was sure about that. I guess being the Monday morning quarterback I should have thought twice before telling the Good Lord it was OK.

The only smart thing that I've done after 2 a.m. is go home. Waking up this morning must of really sucked for all of them. What a drag.

Thank you. Perfect response.

Woke up with a bad hangover, then read this. Thought I'd died and gone to hell. Stitt and Haslam have NOT gotten the message across. They should be having a meeting with the rest of the team, behind closed doors, and instill into EVERYONE, players and coaches, that stupidity is intolerable. By their actions, these three have shit on the brand, and anyone wearing it. That's just this alums view. End rant.
