#3 Eastern Washington vs Towson Game Thread

Right now the Towson OC is going..."Oh they can't stop the pass either...this is going to be fun."

This is like Sam Houston all over again the year they knocked MSU, UM, and EWU all out...won't count the Eags out quite yet but not looking good so far.

Towson can play some offense. Knew they had a great run game but am impressed with their pass game at this point.

As for the number of fans there, it is a shame. You have to wonder how Montana would draw to a game if there was a PAC-12 school located 90 miles away that was playing in its first bowl game in a decade kicking off at exactly the same time. Being one of only 2 FCS schools in the state is a luxury we don't enjoy.

Thanks, ESPN for scheduling our game for exactly the same time!

So you think it would be a sell out if it was last night instead? Just asking, not trying to be a D.

I'm not sure, but it probably would have helped. You take the average Spokane football fan and ask them if they're going to attend a FCS playoff game outdoors in December or watch WSU play in a bowl game in front of their TV. They'll choose WSU every time. It's just the way it is ...

Probably doesn't help attendance that Spokane medical clinics are holding a 'no questions asked' needle exchange today too.

Yeah. No kiddin'.

It does, however, look like they could give NDSU a run for their money.

It could actually be a pretty good Championship game, instead of the blowout I had expected.

Given that it is Christmas break: no students on campus either, correct?

No students on campus, I-90 was closed for several hours yesterday due to a ten car multiple car, fatality pileup, and avalanche warnings in the pass probably cut down on some of the travel from the west side.
