#3 Eastern Washington vs Towson Game Thread

As for the number of fans there, it is a shame. You have to wonder how Montana would draw to a game if there was a PAC-12 school located 90 miles away that was playing in its first bowl game in a decade kicking off at exactly the same time. Being one of only 2 FCS schools in the state is a luxury we don't enjoy.

Thanks, ESPN for scheduling our game for exactly the same time!

So you think it would be a sell out if it was last night instead? Just asking, not trying to be a D.

In fairness the NCAA didn't do them any favors scheduling the 2 games together, just another example of how they view FCS.

Hannah makes a good point. I am not sure how many Zag BB fans are EWU fans too but the Zags are on TV at 12:30 PST.

The Cougs are up 21-7 in the 2nd.

Three things. The schedule of this game has been set for some time. The 90-mile away team is playing much further south today. Different fans.

I will give you: Most in Washington think the Eagles play Division II. Oh, and driving sucks this weekend.

Wonder how much was ESPN compared to NCAA in scheduling. Probably wanted to go with two time defending champs on prime time instead of day game.

I love how Towesons QB kinda looked like Shoota with that jump ball.....kind of an in your face i can throw jump balls too!

Pure gamesmanship LOVE IT!!

I'm not sure, but it probably would have helped. You take the average Spokane football fan and ask them if they're going to attend a FCS playoff game outdoors in December or watch WSU play in a bowl game in front of their TV. They'll choose WSU every time. It's just the way it is ...
