Really just defines our offensive genius at the helm. This guy is so out of his league it's scary. This play call at the end of the game will baffle me for time to come!

Someone mentioned Brady checked into that play, not sure if true but would make more sense than the sidelines calling it. But not a good play either way in that situation.
 
I must be the only one here that wasn't bothered much by that play call. It seemed like Calhoun was ripping off chunks of yardage at that time and everyone knew it was 4 down territory. 4th and 2 or 3 is what I was looking for.

The radio announcers said that it was Brady's call at the LOS....

Gotcha- thanks. I just can't understand running some slants for that same result. Frustrating season.

I can, because Brady can't make all the throws accurately.
 
If Brady checked into that play then it was a horrible read on his part. I too thought a running play would be a good call however the line backers came up close anticipating a run. If anything brady should have checked out of a running play.
 
Stitt in his presser said they called it because of the ability that the griz had running when we were in nickel in the 2nd half. We were in nickel soo......

Terrible call whether it was Gustafson or Stitt. Neither would surprise me. The thought process would be that we get into 4th and manageable, I guess? And then have to pick it up on 4th down. At third and 8, I'd much rather have two shots at picking those 8 yards up with passes.
