3/21 CALL TO ACTION - New Message To Send!

Done. Mr. Williams conduct at the hearing was arrogant and showed him to be nothing but a slick politician unable to accept his own conduct. Blaming the reporter was shameful.
+1. The way he acted at the podium was as if to say, "I can say/do anything I want because, after all, I'm Pat Williams." I voted for him numerous times in the past, but I now wish I hadn't.

DONE and appended! *4

Appreciate your efforts, as well as, the efforts of the other advocates for accountability, with regard to Mr. Williams actions. Its sad that he (Mr. Williams) so vehemently demands accountability from others, yet refuses to even consider there might be some accountability on his part.

Keep up the good fight!

Done as well!

Brint I like many really can't thank you enough for spearheading this! Your a top notch individual and an even better Griz fan! I can't see getting back to Missoulia for a game this year but maybe when the Griz come out to play PSU (when ever that is) you will allow me to treat you to a few Rouge Dead Guy Ales!

Thanks again Brint!

Message sent.

Has anyone contacted the NYT reporter who Mr. Williams contends took Williams statements out of context? Would be interesting to have the reporters views.

Been gone all day.....just read your post.

My message was just sent.....Hope it was not late.

To the best of my knowledge - no vote today, there was talk of a vote next week - so what we are hoping for is a split nomination and whatever the committee recommends on the same day. It'll be either M/W/F n the later afternoon - that's when that committee meets.

"Split nomination"? Does that mean they are considered separately? Thanks!

Exactly what that means. The current nomination has all 3 together. Thus asking senators to recommend a do not pass in the committee and/or asking senators on the senate floor would also penalize the other two. Hence the push for the split nominations.

The motion to be made, whether in committee or on the floor, is a motion to segregate. And remember that it takes affirmative action from the Senate to confirm the nomination----- no action or tabling is the same as "killing" the nomination.

3/25 update: Looks like the motion to segregate will not come until next week most likely.

Please continue to keep the messages and updates rolling in. The Senators on this committee need to get constant reminder of the need for this nomination to be segregated.
