While you're on the case, keep an eye out for sports illustrated reporters, as some tac fans are claiming an article chronicling the Grizzlies fall to shame is pending. Those are the same tac fans that claim the NCAA is currently investigating the program, so keep an eye out for men in all black suits with MIB sunglasses as well as possible black helicopters flying over. I'll be anxiously awaiting your next report to see if any of these claims are true.

Will do, I did recognize all the media peeps today... so no SI undercover agents... yet.

Oh they are going to do a 30 for 30 on ESPN. It will be something about Montana being the Miami Hurricanes of Division 2 (they will call it division 2 not FCS)

They'll mess it up and call us the Montana State Grizzlies in addition to being division 2.

I can see the lead in now:

"In the vast high plain desert of central Montana and just a stones throw from Canada, the Montana State Grizzlies and their head coach Amanda Pflugrad are in some hot water and some are calling them the Miami Hurricanes of division 2 football."

I believe the lead in has already been written:

thanks b/w for being willing to write up your summary of practice...i always look forward to your posts and getting the real truth as you see it.....one question, does the lebsock kid appear much larger and more physical than hermy? i ask because, on paper lebsock is supposed to be 6' 2" , 205 pounds and can run....anyway thanks a bunch....

Cornerbacks are suuuuper thin. You’ve got only 1 guy with serious game-time experience in Sean Murray. Starting opposite of him is Marlon Miles. Murray picked Montana once in the 11on11 drills. Behind them are Nate Harris who is coming off a red-shirt, WR convert Josh Dennard, and walk-on David Nguyen (Pete’s younger brother). That’s it. If this group loses a guy or two they won’t be able to suit up 2 full teams. Overall corner play wasn’t bad, Dennard had a pick as well. Harris is working his way in, they’re using him to blitz a bunch and he disrupted a few plays with his blitzes. Harris vs Miles will become a rapidly developing position battle I’m guessing.

I appreciate Dennard's willingness to fill a needed position, but you have to feel for him a bit. If BWs predictions are right he's looking like the 4th CB. Whereas he looked like one of the up and coming starters at WR. Just seems like a step back for the kid. Cant wait to see those hands and athleticism at CB though!
