Two years ago a man who played for Northern Iowa along with the Head Coach of the North Dakota State Bison coached with Jeff Choate at MSU. Coach Messingham was critiqued continually for his "play calling." Last year Coach Messingham took that same playbook to Fargo and lost one game! This year, that same playbook and play calling is undefeated.
The Mad Hatter is coaching at Kansas this year and as I speculate with people I used to work with, I suppose those two former UNI coaches along with their other UNI buddy will leave Fargo and head for KSU. I'm curious to see how that same playbook and playcalling turns out. Wonder if they take their strength and conditioning coach along with a few of their OL.
I'm curious how many OL transfers the Cats and the Griz get this year from Power 5 or J.C. schools. Both teams could use some DL help too and MSU really needs linebackers too.
Armchair quarterbacks and old has beens never seem to realize that the game of football is not just predicated by line play but the final score is determined by the Big Uglies.
