#22 Griz vs #10 EWU Game Thread

They could have played Vernon Adams, John Adams, Sam Adams or Adam vs Eve and still would have lost by 30!!!! That was a football game! The Griz did everything short of make them clean the bleachers before they got on the bus.

This is funny (and true) to me. Gallows humor I guess.

Basketball is a certainty not a possibility...

And why would he be talking about finishing strong in basketball when the season just started. Can't believe they would come back. Wow! Low days for Vandal football.

And Idaho's BB team is already in the Big Sky

I realize that and that's why I asked the question. Men's BB would be the only "relevant" (sorry) sport he could be talking about here unless he meant, gulp, FCS Football. They were once a powerhouse. If that did happen, it would strategically eliminate another possible competitor for a call up for us to MWC. Not that anyone really wants a small Idaho city with a garden shed for a stadium.

But actually, they have a very nice garden shed (arboretum, etc.), it's the stadium that's a piece of s**t.

At one point in the first quarter, Root Sports flashed a stat that said EWU had 45 yards rushing and UM had 7.

EWU ended the game with 96 and UM ended the game with 193. EWU had 147 yards rushing and lost 51 on sacks. I'm guessing at the time they flashed that stat Holmes and Company were just getting warmed up. lol
