2027 Montana Recruiting (10) Verbals & (55) Offers

Yeah, really 4-1
How do you figure 4-1?

Griz have:
1. ATH- Eli Kasberg 6'2" 210 (Big Sky HS) Missoula, MT (T 3/24/26)
2. WR- Drew Almquist (Helena Capital HS) Helena, MT (T 4/3/26) (3 Star)
3. WR- Cooper Pelc 6'3" 185 (Glacier HS) Kalispell, MT (T 3/28/26)
4. DL- Quincy King 6' 3" 230 (Big Sky HS) Missoula, MT (T 3/13/26)
5. LB- Sam Sirmon 6'3" 205 (Sentinel HS) Missoula MT (I 3/5/26)

Cats have Dax Yeager. Pretty sure that's 5-1.

I am thrilled with the recruiting results too. Like I said in another thread, I was around BK all last Saturday, and was blown away by the guy and can see why he is having success with these kids.

That said, in fairness 4 of the 5 we’ve signed had offers from the cats and serious interest from other schools as well. 1 did not. I’ll leave it at that, but it’s really 4-1 to be honest.

I was counting all the in-state commits, not just the ones that were offered by both schools. I didn't want to have to do research since I figured that there are probably also kids the cats offered that maybe the Griz didn't. But okay.

Like I said, things will change. We won't get them all, but it's just a fun metric for now.

Folks keep pointing out that Sirmon did not have an offer from the cats, which may be true. He does, however, already have a full ride offer from Idaho, and I have no doubt that he is worthy of an offer from the cats as well. He is primed for a huge senior year and is bound be a great player for the Griz. His commitment to the Griz is a big recruiting win.

Huh? Offer from Idaho? Where are you getting that?
