They should be doing now rather than Spring ball. I think the cats are onto something there. You can do as many as you want because they are unofficial visits. To me it’s another small thing that I think we could improve if the goal is to make inroads on local talent.
Walker Olsen and Lane Humphrey from Billings West have both been offered full rides. Unfortunately some of these offers don’t involve much follow up. Sounds like contact is 10 to 1 in favor of the cats. Walker and his family really want him to be a Griz but they wish the coaches would reach out more, especially Bobby.
When were they offered? I can't seem to find them. Thanks

Somebody either at the press conference or the signing day social tomorrow should ask Bobby about this.
"Lame duck" effort/attitude on Bobby's part. Writings on the wall, he doesn't give a crap about the future, this will be his last year and now you know why Green left after all these years to take a position coach job at WSU. He knew he had only one more year guaranteed at UM and would have a better chance coming back as a possible head coach coming from "outside" with a little more diverse experience rather than as a an assistant being promoted and if not chosen he would still have a job that will not be pulled out from under him when Bobby "retires".
Ok that's fine, but if Bobby does manage to turn it around and gets the Griz to Nashville next year, then you shouldn't be allowed to relish in it with how doom and gloom you've been for months now.

Our fan base in pretty engaged and in tune to what is going on in the program. Let’s contrast this to what is going on at conference peer EWU. Aaron Best has been doing next to nothing in recruiting in the transfer portal or high school yet I see far more people here questioning Bobby than EWU fans questioning Best.
Are there even any Eastern fans left? I mean it’s not quite a peer. We may be in the same conference but they are no peers to us as far as fan engagement, support, money, and prestige of university. It was amazing they had the run they had with Baldwin when they did.

TBH, I think they tired of bitching about Best and instead have just lost interest because the AD/President have done nothing and seem fine with the program.
I think the situation at EWU is what some people that really can't stand Bobby think is actually going on over here, where circumstances prevent the AD from being able to move on, even if Haslam wanted to.
EWU literally cannot get rid of Best no matter what. They can't afford his buyout, so they're stuck with him, and he so far hasn't done anything to warrant firing by cause.
And like HHB mentions above, the fans aren't really in a position to raise too much of a shit about their athletics, given that it is a money sink for the entire university, and they can't really afford to compete in this new world of NIL, which really sucks for them, obviously.

I thought he liked pressure and iron sharpens iron. Does that not apply to coaches now? Vigen has a title now and Bobby does not. Time to put up or shut up.
