Well the narrative WAS "We don't recruit Montana hard enough"...the goal posts have now been moved to "BOBBY doesn't PERSONALLY recruit Montana hard enough..." If there's not a picture of Bobby with every recruit then we didn't really want them apparently.
 
For those who follow VIM's recruiting advice, I would take it with a grain of salt. There are a few Montana athletes in the 2027 class that he lists in the PWOs that I would put in the Blue Chips and there's at least one Blue Chip that I would put in the Rare Ones.

What percentage of the roster are true open tryout walk ons (I know this is low if they exist at all at the FCS level), preferred walk ons, partial scholarship and full scholarship?

You’re kidding me right? I thought every traditional D1 program in the country had Junior day. What is the rationale behind not having it?

I don’t think we’ve had one the past couple of years but this year I’ve seen recruits saying we’re having one, I think the scats have one every weekend or seems like it
