2. I realize these kids need to "sell" themselves to a certain extent but posting their running total of offers somehow rubs me the wrong way. Is it really necessary? (And no I'm not a boomer but get off my lawn anyway.)

Yup, i see these offers as making a connection for the future. In case this kid wants to transfer in a year or two, we're a familiar offer for him and he could be more inclined to transfer our way.
 
Moser is a generational talent. All State QB in his first year as a starter at WA top division runner up Lake Stevens. …Moser’s Spring ‘25 4.47 40 set a program record prev held by UW RB Jayden Limar. Late bloomer, never did 7v7 or football camps. Scheduled to attend Elite 11 Regionals next weekend….Baseball standout…,SS/RHP Batted .373 and hit 96 on the mound as a sophomore … is shortlisted for state baseball poy going into his junior season. Hope you get him.
