Time for our next preview, and this time it's Portland State. I think it's a two horse race between PSU and Utah Tech for worst team in the Big Sky. Let's dive in!
August 29 vs. UC Davis - L. Maybe PSU will have a few tricks up their sleeve given that it's the first game of the year, but Davis should be able to have their way with them. Even if this game is in Portland.
September 5 @ San Diego State - L. The Aztecs had a good season last year in the MWC, but we'll see how well they transition to to the PAC. That said, they're still gonna destroy PSU.
September 12 vs. North Dakota - L. A lot of people are high on UND this year. They do return a lot of playmakers including Jerry Kaminski, and they'll have no problem in this game.
September 18 @ Oregon - L. This game is in Eugene on Friday, the night before the Griz play OSU in Corvallis. They were originally both supposed to be on Saturday, but this game was moved to Friday. Now if you can stomach watching PSU lose by 80, you could pull a double header and watch every D1 Oregon team in the same weekend lol.
September 26 @ Weber State - L. As I've mentioned previously, I'm not very high on Weber this year, but I do expect them to win this game at home. Could be close though.

October 10 vs. Utah Tech - W. This is their best chance at a win. If they don't get this game, they may very well go winless. I'll take them at home, but I won't be surprised if they lose.
October 17 @ Northern Arizona - L. Ya, more of the same.
October 24 @ Idaho State - L. Won't be too pretty in this one either.
October 31 vs. Idaho - L. Maybe this one could be competitive for a half, but still gonna be pretty lopsided.
November 7 @ Montana - L. Same thing as what I've said previously.
November 14 vs. Southern Utah - L. Maybe they have a chance in this one? I'm gonna say no.
November 21 @ Eastern Washington - L. They'll be clamoring to get the season over by this time.

I've got Portland State going 1-11, but I won't be surprised if they go winless. I do think Chris Fisk was a good hire for them and he will make them competitive in the long run, but it's gonna be a rough first year for him. That's my prediction. Thoughts???
