2026 Brawl

Let’s pump the brakes a bit. The Cats are a very good football team. We had an opportunity to do some nice things and made a valiant comeback to make the game close. My aim is against these “boosters” that claim everything is great and there is nothing to fix. We need a different approach to strength and conditioning. That’s clearly not working. Defensive scheme I could do without but can be effective if we have more DL bodies and develop younger talent!! Development is the KEY. tired of the blowhards that are happy to keep their status within the program just to continue the same trajectory year after year. We need to figure out where we have gone wrong from December-August

Are you not saying we need a different coach?
The overwhelming opinion here is we need to change everything except bobby.
I believe bobby does love the Griz and would not be surprised if he did step down.

I would like to find out more on what is going on during the off-season. We clearly have talent, but we are getting beat in the trenches by teams that have less skill talent. Football is a simple game, however some people make it seem really hard.


Our offense is way too cute in my opinion.
 
Cats are a very young team. The two deep doesn't have many seniors. They will be loaded (depending on portal departures). Bobby has a lot to replace and will play portal roulette again. Unless the Griz hit the portal lottery, I cannot see them winning in Bozeman next season. Ask this question again in July - I'll have a different answer :)

Bobby loves this scheme, for better or worse. Weve see the scheme have success, and that requires elite play at nose and corner / secondary. My hope is resources and effort go to solidifying these positions with elite talent. We need all American talent at one position for certain, and thats nose tackle. Corner needs to be good to great. All big sky.

And I agree S&C needs an upgrade. From the trainer I go to, a high successful trainer in missoula, core strength is an issue. I'd like to help them collaborate.

Don’t agree we are getting beat in trenches.
 
Bobby has 3rd most Cat wins Doug Fessenden won 9 lost 1 Mick Denney was also undefeated like Don Read but only had 4 times to beat them


Interesting numbers I came across shows both 1.0 and currently 2.0 both had 97 games to coach

Bobby 1.0 97 games (80–17) Record, (5–2) vs. Cats
Bobby 2.0 97 games (71-26) Record, (2–6) vs. Cats
