I'd bet there's a good possibility that one or both could follow Payne to Santa Clara. Same with any of the other NAU players that are now in the portal.

He was quite clear in his interviews that he wants to play 5-out. I expect we’ll see him try to land a more mobile stretch-5 type player.

Zingaro ia not a huge loss based on what Nate wants to do offensively. She is tall but way too slow for his system. ON another topic, Kitties have lost two of their top returning players to the portal. Things may not be real great in Kitten land!

Yes, Dykstra and Picton are in the portal. We will see how it all plays out, but I am confident that Cats will be fine. They are great players, and I can't wait to see where they end up, and how they do. Will be cheering for them wherever they land.

I never saw her seem to hustle. Last one down the court after a defensive rebound by the LG. I don't see this as a loss.

Probably more an issue of jumping to Big 10 (or whatever number it is now) rather than "just" the WCC- both are a step up over the Big Sky, but Purdue is a bigger step.

I hear that Avery Howell from out of the Boise area entered the Portal from USC. Be interesting since Montana was the first team out of Idaho that offered her back in the day.

At least four were spotted from USC entering the 'Portal,' yesterday. Then a couple hours later, all four names were not in the Portal. Removed or whatever. So, I don't know.

Avery Howell was a Top 20 recruit nationally in the Class of 2024. The chances of her dropping down from USC to any Big Sky team are highly remote as she'll undoubtedly have many power conference offers to choose from.
