2025 Transfer Thread/ Portal Offers-- (31) Transfers to UM

Couple of general portal updates. After it was rumored for weeks that Gevani McCoy was headed to UIW, yesterday he committed to Texas State. UIW goes back to the drawing board at QB. And former UNLV QB Matthew Sluka committed to JMU to play for his former coach Bob Chesney from Holy Cross. Those were two of the bigger names at QB that were still on the board. Meanwhile the cats were under the impression that they were going to land Stanford QB Justin Lamson, however they now think he's committed to Bowling Green despite the fact I can't find anything reporting that. There's nothing on his social media or any reports of that, but I thought it was interesting.

Eff that. Thank the gods (new and old) that we are finally getting some MT weather. Have not even been able to get out on the ice to fish unless you want to chase those little pussy wieners up at G-town like all the pretenders. Helena’s derby is this weekend and it just froze over in the last couple weeks or so

Nope. But I spent over 18 years in Havre before significant global warming. It would be nice to have a decent cold snap to kill bugs and drive recent transplants south.

Would also like reversion to the norm by playoff time next year, so our portal signees have a taste of Montana home-field advantage.

I traveled to Havre during several winters. Very cold!
