2025 Transfer Thread/ Portal Offers-- (31) Transfers to UM

Elijawah Tolbert is probably the answer with the best argument in favor based on his pedigree. He's been a two time First Team All-Conference player at linebacker and will come in with plenty of experience in a 3-3-5.

I'm hoping it turns out to be Bowen or Bailey, though, because having a monster on either line would help the most.

I'm super excited to see if Hendrix and Rohrer can really go.
Elijawah Tolbert looks like he's not real good about staying to his commitments. Certainly looks like a very good player. Only a year left under current conditions but who knows there. If he does come and stay he is a good get. As far as others they will need playing time to really see what we have but certainly good possibilities.

Can you explain what you mean about him not being good about staying to his commitments and "if he does stay?" Is there something I am missing in his background?

Which one are you thinking will be our best player that we have landed in the transfer portal? Happy to hear your thoughts as well.

I agree with you 100 %, astute, snd while I am far from " The Shi##y Kitty Whisperer," I have a hunch that the Connor Moore's and Scottre Humphrey's don't like what they see in the SK quarterbsck room AT, After Tommy--another reason to pull thr eject handle and get the f__k out of Dodge !!!

It probably also doesn't help The Shi##y Kitties player retention to have all of these one-year wonders @ OC and OL. Coach Hauck isn't warm and fuzzy, but his staff tends to stay in Missoula for several years, like Justin Green, Brent Pease, and Roger Cooper so he must be doing something right plus he's been back in Missoula himself now for 7 years in Tour # 2, and I think coach retention helps player retention, while granted that college and pro football coaching is a gypsy lifestyle--you and your family are probably going to move around a lot !!!

Brent Vigen can do no wrong in Bozeman right now and he probably has a hard time paying for dinner for his wife and himself at Ted's Montana Grill or Montana Ale Works. In 2-3 years, he might not be so popular in Boz Angeles if his teams regress and go sideways over the next two years AT, After Tommy !!!

I read where he entered portal last year and went to Missouri state for spring ball. Then he came back to EI ,played 4 games and then red shirted.
As far as other players I think there is a lot of possibilities depends how much they want it. But not much playing time in FCS or FBS that I could see.
