2025 Transfer Thread/ Portal Offers-- (31) Transfers to UM

What if everyone agreed that both sides have rioted to one extent or another, it’s not justifiable, and no one should do it anymore?
yes agreed....in 35 days it won't be business as usual...the door will open for all to see..
government lawlessness (except for the Bidens they have pardon each other ) it will start
to be exposed on both sides...got popcorn...........back 2 football.

Maybe the realization here is that your
Apparently we are short on talent with the OL. Some of the recruits look good, however.
I think coaches are still learning lessons about the portal. We know for example that FBS drop down QBs with starting experience are a thing of the past. We’re not going to see an Ochs, Miller or Swogger again.

Maybe we’re learning something similar about linemen. The guys with playing experience and a two or more years to play go elsewhere. Also, it seems to take a season before we see the best performance out of a transfer.

So, why not recruit prep linemen and avoid the portal? Lose a year to the RS and see if you can get a 4-year starter. The Griz have had multiple year starters on O line from its best recruits, Thatcher Szalay, for instance, or Cody Balogh, another four-year letterman.

Here’s another transfer issue that doesn’t bode well for an FCS roster. Transfers are more likely to want a full scholarship. So are recruits from out of state.

The Griz have for years done a good job balancing full scholarships needed for competitive offers to out of state recruits with partial scholarships for in state recruits, in some cases no scholarship for in state recruits. A lot of portal recruits makes that more difficult, too, I’ll bet.

Maybe the Griz should hire the Idaho and EWU coaches since they seem to have recruited and developed the players that everyone on here is saying we should go after.

Anybody have any actual information on transfers? whose visiting this weekend? If you want to talk politics there is a politics thread on the board take that bs over there and leave this for us that want to see transfers and talk about potential new guys

alabamagrizzly gave a good answer to recruiting issues earlier this year when we had this type of discussion. He said that there was a lot more FBS teams than several years ago taking more players. He mentioned that there is not as many quality players left to play in the FCS. Only so many to be had.
It seems logical. Sure you can mention the Dakotas have good players but when your the best you get the best of what's left.
