Thanks to Payton for his hard work putting out a Top 25 schedule so I can abuse it with my ridiculous predictions.

***As a side note I will probably always pick against Tarleton and MSU unless I must concede they are significantly better than their competition.

2025 FCS Week 9- Schedule
1 North Dakota State wins the rivalry this year against 2 South Dakota State
2 South Dakota State Jackrabbits are going to get stampeded by 1 North Dakota State Bison
3 Tarleton State The team other than the cats that I love to hate loses to Eastern Kentucky
4 Montana needs to play all four quarters hard if they are going to win on the road against Sac State
5 Kittens will have an easy day against Cal Poly
6 UC Davis is going to ride roughshod over Northern Colorado
7 Lehigh stays undefeated against Fordham
8 North Dakota gets to pad their stats like everyone before them against Indiana State
9 Tennessee Tech continues their undefeated march to the playoffs against Southeast Missouri State
10 Monmouth really, there isn't anyone else in their conference and they will beat Hampton easily.
11 Villanova moves to 6-2 after they beat down Albany
12 Jackson State is going to dance all over Grambling
13 Rhode Island another CAA game where there's three top teams an then everyone else like Bryant
14 Harvard vs Princeton really raise your hand if you actually care about Ivy League football?
15 Lamar Is going to continue to roll toward the playoffs with a win over Northwestern State
16 Southern Illinois redeems themselves at Northern Iowa
17 Mercer is going to swat VMI (not in that way)
18 Illinois State will be upset at the paws of 21 South Dakota
19 Presbyterian should be ranked higher and will hose Dayton
20 Northern Arizona should handle Idaho State
21 South Dakota is going paws out in this game upsetting 18 Illinois State
22 Youngstown Idle
23 Abilene Christian Idle
24 Stephen F Austin will beat East Texas A&M down
25 Austin Peay Governors are ordering up a win over North Alabama

Other Big Sky Conference Game
EWU
gets closer to .500 after they beat Weber State
24 Idaho can't possibly lose to Portland State but stranger things have happened

Now that Tarleton's starting QB is back, I don't see them losing for the rest of the season. With him, they've won each game this season by an average 37 points, and without him they've "only" won by an average of 17.

Might just have to pencil them into a top 3 seed, because they're almost certainly going 12-0 in the extremely mediocre UAC.

I'm hoping🤞 Abilene Christian can take them down again this year. The revenge factor will be at work there, but the Texans don't have much to hold them back after that.
EKU losing at North Alabama doesn't give me any faith in them and I'm not sold on Austin Peay either.
I know others on here have asked who they've played besides Army, which I agree, they are like an advanced FCS team in an FBS box.
They are a tough team to gage for sure. Last year, in the playoffs for example, they beat Drake 43-29, who had lost to South Dakota 42-3. You would have thought that game in round 2 would have been a blowout, but USD only beat them 42-31 and USD outscored them 21-3 in the fourth quarter on top of it.

Tarleton is legit. I just can't and won't admit it to my wife.
