2025 FCS 2nd Round Week 15 Playoff Schedule

Well, I ahd a pretty good record last weekend with the exception of Tennessee and Yale. I crapped the bed on those two.

1 NDSU Bizzzzon pluck the Illinois State Redbirds and beat them by a billion points
2 MSU Puddy Tats are gonna come claws out against the Yale Bulldogs
3 UM Grizzlies make a game out of it can't keep up with the 14 SDSU Jackrabbits and lose by a hare in OT
4 Tarleton State Texans are left standing on the field as the UND Fighting Hawks fly away with the win
5 Lehigh Mountain Hawks are exposed as featherweights against 12 Villanova
6 Mercer Bears will be outwitted by the 11 South Dakota Wile E Coyotes
7 Purple team SFU is going to get chopped down by the 10 Purple team Abilene Christian
8 UC Davis Mustangs
are going to stampede to victory over the 9 Rhode Island

Well, I'm hoping you crap out again. I agree with most of what you say, but I'm thinking within actual bye week the Griz will be ready and refueled. It'll be a great game, but the Griz will prevail.
Lehigh is no fluke., and Mercer is gonna give USD a battle. It's all one and done, and and team can get hot; or get cold for that matter. Gonna be a fun weekend, nonetheless. Go Griz!!!

UND could boat race Tarleton or get boat raced themselves that is the reality of how inconsistent the Hawks have been this season. They can beat anyone in the field but could also embarrass themselves and get blown out against anyone still in the field.

And it's likely Kaminski is out but I'm not sure if that is a negative or positive for UND

After being forced to watch Tarleton all season and going to the EKU game in person, I feel 100% completely confident that UND is going to beat them. I am not gonna say it's going to be easy, Gabalis is a good QB, and smart. They are solid on offense, they have some ability to make big plays on so so teams, but are they good enough to beat UND? I don't think so. If I were ACU and TSU I would look at jumping from that worthless conference and try to get into the Southland. At least they are sort of competitive.

UND has been inconsistent all year and is now without their starting qb after a non called cheap shot last week. I wouldn’t feel confident that UND will beat anyone but also not confident that they would lose to anyone. I haven’t watched Tarleton much this season so my assessment is almost entirely based on UND.

I hope I crap out on the Griz game. I really do. My track record with predicting the Griz wins starting at the Brawl and into the playoffs hasn't ever been very good.

I picked Tennessee State last year and the Griz won. I picked The Griz against SDSU and they lost.

In 2023 I picked Delaware and the Griz won. I picked Furman and the Griz won. I picked NDSU and the Griz won. I picked the Griz and they lost to SDSU.

In 20222 I picked SEMO and the Griz won. THEN I picked the Griz and they lost to NDSU.

In 2021 I picked EWU and the Griz won. THEN I picked the Griz and they lost to JMU (I detest JMU).

So the thing is I can go back through the last 24 years and when I pick the other team, the Griz almost always win. When I pick the Griz they almost always lose.

I know it's stupid, totally unscientific, has no mathematical leg to stand on stats wise, but THAT is the reason why I almost always pick against the Griz starting with the Brawl.

Fair enough. I think the only advantage Tarleton has is the homefield advantage. That's not much of an advantage.

UND can't beat Montana, NDSU, South Dakota or South Dakota State, but other than that they can beat anyone in the playoffs

UND will win that game no matter who starts at QB if they run the ball 40 times and have no turnovers. TTU lines are hot garbage and UND will dominate them. Not even sure UND is that good and they are gonna feast on those guys

Good breakdown of the match ups offense v. defense if you want to see those numbers side by side and some analysis in something much less than Brint's breakdowns.

Spoiler alert, he picks these winners, not what I have and I am sure most of you will have different takes as well
UC Davis
Abilene Christian
Mercer
Lehigh
Tarleton State
Montana
Bozeman
North Dakota State

Alright lets go

1st Up
5Lehigh (12-0) vs 12Villanova (10-2) 10AM
6Mercer (9-2) vs 11South Dakota (9-4) 10AM

Its easy to pick Vill and SD for the road wins, but Lehigh (at times) and Mercer have really good Offences.

I think both upsets happen
