MBBALL 2025 Big Sky Conference Transfer Tracker

At the end of day 2 of the portal:

--No signings.
--Departures:
2- Montana State (Johnson, Moskowitz)
2- Idaho State (Griffin, Madimba)
2- Northern Arizona (Towt, Bowser)
1- Sacramento State (Skytta)
1- Montana (Davidson)
1- Idaho (Stevens)

All told: 1,179 transfers in the portal. Roughly 700 since it opened Monday.
 
There are some really good players, at all positions, out there right now. If they are any good at all, they are going to want 6 figures to sign with anybody. You might get some of the D11 studs for a little less, but not much. What's left over after those players will be of minimal value.

They are either in the portal for a payday, or for PT, or because they lost their spot on a team. At our level, we can only hope to get the 'for PT' guys for minimal NIL. The ones who lost their spot on any given team will be marginal at best.
 
Some of these moves are players trying to make a buck. However, many of them are coaches trying to create roster room for incoming players who they think will be better.
