Was kind of tempted to run over and catch this event since it’s over in Spokane, especially with Don Read being honored posthumously (RIP Papa Bear). Unfortunately, we have friends coming into town now. I’m sure Keelan and Ryan will represent well though, and there will be some great things shared about Coach Read.
One thing that struck me from the Big Sky Conference article was this doozy on featured speaker Ryan Leaf. “Treasure State native and former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf will speak to student-athletes and other select groups about his past and what others can learn from his wealth of life experiences.” The wealth part was pretty fleeting if I recall correctly, but he sure did have some experiences. The conference really couldn’t find anyone else that isn’t on their third comeback tour, and has no affiliation with the conference?
