UM didn't have "handsy" scandals. There was no substance behind any of the BS allegations and rumors, except for 1. He went to jail. After the facts came out, no one supported him. Johnson was tried and, as expected, acquitted immediately. Sat the year of trial, and then finished his career. No other criminal charges brought for anything. No one who got a lawyer to help defend the school's actions against them was forced out of school and found "guilty". Krakauer's book was wrong on a dozen things.

Get your facts straight before you post incorrect stuff.

What UM football coach in the last decade or so, has been arrested and charged with something? Or, charged and not suspended? That is the proper comparison. MSU is allowing 3 football coaches to continue coaching its team and players, with pending charges. Not even suspending them.

So it sounds like you’re frustrated he was jailed without due process, but here you want them suspended and or fired before due process?

Go study your US map and get back to me when you can show me where you think South Dakota state is located. Once you pass, you can post again.

Johnson wasn't jailed. Johnson was suspended from the team. From when he was charged to when he was acquitted. And he was also suspended for good period of time when the allegations were first made.

That's not what he was saying. He said Johnson was forced out for a year while due process (or "due-process" according to MSU's PR team) was carried out. Not allowed to play. MSU, on the other hand, gives DUI arrestees new contracts and raises with criminal charges pending.

I swear to God I'm being dead serious: I wonder if the PR team handling these incidents with the criminally-charged coaches is made up of Griz fans trying to make MSU look as bad as possible. I just can't see it being anything else. You come out and say they are suspended pending further investigation (resolution of the cases). You don't give a canned, misspelled statement indicating you are taking no action and then renew them. If you think back through the years about all the gaffes coming out of the department, it makes a lot of sense that there could be some Griz moles in the MSU AD.

Yup, and the lady Cats have won 9 of the last 10 against the gris. Football 5 of last 6. Soon to be 6 of the last 7. When was the last time the Gris won the overall team trophy? 8 years ago. Congrats to the young woman on the rodeo thing. I heard the NCAA sanctioned USC for rodeo recruiting violations and the program has never been the same.

The third most successful in the FCS in the 90's. Your team hasn't won a championship in over 40 years.
