Half the threads here get locked because you all cat fight with each other like kids who learned naughty words for the first time. You don’t have moderators here, you have babysitters. It’s a sad state of EGRIS.
I come with popcorn and it never disappoints.
I hate to agree with you, but you speak truth. Much of the problem here is that so many posters choose to live in the past, and refuse to accept the current state of our program. And, if any of us (God forbid) advocate for changes being made because the current staff is obviously not doing the job, in my opinion (and the opinion of many other fans), they are immediately designated as "closet Cat fans", or just the enemy of the status quo in Griz-ville. If any poster takes this stance, he is immediately verbally assaulted, labeled an idiot by our resident Hauck lackey, or called a bad fan for daring to advocate for change.
The irony is that we are all rabid Griz fans, and share the same desire to return to the dominant national power that we were for many years. I guess the difference lies in the divide between those of us who believe that we can accomplish this by staying-the-course with our current staff, and those of us who think the current staff has not shown the ability to get it done.
And then, there are the Griz fans who refuse to admit that the team from Bozeman is now the power within the state. And, if someone like me admits that, they are immediately challenged, thus ignoring the obvious facts and performances of the two teams during the Hauck 2.0 regime.
So, it is what it is. We will inevitably return to a dominant program, one way or another. We enjoy too many advantages over almost all other FCS programs to not be able to accomplish this. Whether it happens in a couple of years under Hauck, or requires some new blood to make it happen........ I have faith that it will indeed happen.

Has bucket technology changed since the 1990s? I guess only an engineer would notice?
I’ve read the sentence at least eight times, and each time I come up with a different interpretation. No idea what it really means. It sounds like you are trying to “deflect” the horrible MSU dui crimes which is ironic because in this very thread you tried giving a lecture on the word “deflect”.
I love the part about how you talk trash on your rival’s board, and try to make it sound like it’s not totally pathetic even though you’ve had so many “cats”/“back” names I’ve lost track.

I’ll keep making them as long as you little kitties keep running a trashy program. You can’t refute that at all.

And keep deflecting. Don’t face your problems like a real man. BTW, why do bubcats excuse dui’s? Why can’t bubcats address this issue like real men?

What do you want me to do about it? Prosecute them myself?
What did you do about the handsy scandals? You still going to gris games? Did you take to Twitter and demand they clean house and burn the field down?

UM didn't have "handsy" scandals. There was no substance behind any of the BS allegations and rumors, except for 1. He went to jail. After the facts came out, no one supported him. Johnson was tried and, as expected, acquitted immediately. Sat the year of trial, and then finished his career. No other criminal charges brought for anything. No one who got a lawyer to help defend the school's actions against them was forced out of school and found "guilty". Krakauer's book was wrong on a dozen things.
Get your facts straight before you post incorrect stuff.
What UM football coach in the last decade or so, has been arrested and charged with something? Or, charged and not suspended? That is the proper comparison. MSU is allowing 3 football coaches to continue coaching its team and players, with pending charges. Not even suspending them.

So it sounds like you’re frustrated he was jailed without due process, but here you want them suspended and or fired before due process?
CDAGRIZ said:CatsRback said:So it sounds like you’re frustrated he was jailed without due process, but here you want them suspended and or fired before due process?
That's not what he was saying. He said Johnson was forced out for a year while due process (or "due-process" according to MSU's PR team) was carried out. Not allowed to play. MSU, on the other hand, gives DUI arrestees new contracts and raises with criminal charges pending.
I swear to God I'm being dead serious: I wonder if the PR team handling these incidents with the criminally-charged coaches is made up of Griz fans trying to make MSU look as bad as possible. I just can't see it being anything else. You come out and say they are suspended pending further investigation (resolution of the cases). You don't give a canned, misspelled statement indicating you are taking no action and then renew them. If you think back through the years about all the gaffes coming out of the department, it makes a lot of sense that there could be some Griz moles in the MSU AD.

So would you prefer they be canned like johnson? Could be all gris folk, could not be. Who knows. I’m not following it super closely. But if you want me to publicly make a statement I really don’t like the black eye it gives. Not only that, but I don’t like how many times the one coordinator has been in this position.
It sucks mostly because you guys cling on to it like a baby on a breast instead of realizing the gris aren’t the best team in the state anymore and really haven’t been for the last 6 years. In fact, the university was on a major decline for multiple years with enrollment and of course lack of sports success while MSU was winning multiple conference and sparse national titles.
Let’s call this constant bashing what it is: This is a last ditch effort to rope us into your lack of success hoping the scandal de-rails MSU’s recent sport success because y’all can’t stand being second fiddle for pretty much every sport.

Nope. Some of us just think it's scummy for MSU to reward drunk driving with taxpayer money.
I held the same opinions when MSU was the poop it was in the early 2000s with coaches murdering and running drug rings while FB went 0-11. The "constant bashing" is well-earned now, just as it was then, regardless of the on-field results.
