Griz instead of Idaho even though they have the same record and Idaho won the head to head... in Missoula? Interesting. I don't buy it, but I guess we'll find out tomorrow morning!

The software is flawed here, Idaho is in before we are.

There are a number of FCS playoff teams that we could beat in WaGriz.
Unfortunately we will probably only get 1 home game.
This team has shown no ability to win a game on the road against a quality opponent.

But, just like the lottery, you have to buy a ticket to have a chance.
A slim chance but if I was on the team I would want that chance.
I'm guessing that if SoldierGriz was on the team he would want that chance to prove that today was not who we are as a team.

Peyton,
Do you really believe the CAA will get 5 teams in and the Big Sky only 4 teams?
I think Idaho is in and Delaware is out based on your thoughts above.
Go Griz!

Griz and Davis literally will be battling to be the last one in and first one out. Does the committee go with 6-5 or a 7-4. I can see arguments for both.

I hope not. Do not deserve it, beaten like a drum today. Never beat a team with a winning record. 4-4 in conference. It would be a sham.

Truth

If they put a 4-4 (conference) Griz team in over a 6-2 Idaho team that beat the Griz straight up, I have to question their methodology.

You bet I would. Especially if I was a senior...one more game at home...

As a fan - my discontent is with the staff and some in the fan base. There was a time when just getting into the playoffs was a given...

This is a pretty important list and one would have to pause and consider the ramifications of who is announced at 10:30 a.m. as participants:

https://herosports.com/fcs-football-2022-playoff-committee-members-bzbz/

Also, consider the seeds and the brackets.

At large field according to AGS:

1. Montana St (3)
2. North Dakota St (4)
3. Incarnate Word (5)
4. Weber St (8)
5. Furman (10)
6. Elon (11)
7. Richmond (12)
8. UNH (15)
9. Idaho (16)
10. Fordham (18)
11. Mercer (19)
12. UND (20)
13. Montana (21)

And the first 4 left out:

Chattanooga (22)
UC Davis (23)
Rhode Island (24)
Delaware (25)

Not likely how it's going to end up, but the first post-season poll that's usually pretty close.

1st one I've seen that has them in. Interesting.

state being a 4 bumps all the other Big Sky playoff teams further down the list.
Yup, and W&M getting the 5 means they think pretty highly of the CAA.

Not feeling good about our chances right now.
