I have heard that the Griz actually have around 14 verbals, but the Hauck is really keeping a lid on things.
The dudes that already reported their verbals are VERY unlikely to change. My bet is that there are some really highly sought after players (RB like you said) that Hauck is nervous will be chased if they know UM is in on them. The trend has been that way. IE if a player announces a offer, within days several big sky teams offer also. It's a lazy way of recruiting but it happens a lot.
Last year 5 or 6 straight players announced Griz offers on twitter and within 2 days the kittens offered also. Sometimes within hours. Not hacking the kittens, just stating what happened.
Throw in the fact that Hauck HAS ALWAYS been like this. During his first coaching at UM it was similar.
I think Hauck is even tighter this year because last recruiting season the Griz lost 3 or 4 highly sought after recruits when lower level FBS teams offered Griz verbals near the finish line.
With all that said... I'm not worried at all.
Hauck and company are great coaches.
Justin Green and company are top notch recruiters.
All is well in Grizville and I bet we are going to be really surprised when the name start coming in.
