2020 Fall FCS Games

Well there looks like there are going to be a few schools who are going to try playing this fall. NDSU and Central Arkansas just announced a 3-game series (one game this fall). For anyone wanting to watch some football, here are some key games scheduled for the fall.

Aug. 29 - FCS Kickoff Austin Peay @ Central Arkansas, 7:00 PM (ESPN)
Oct. 3 - Central Arkansas @ NDSU

If anyone else knows of any scheduled games, go ahead and add them here.

Great for them. Wish the Big Sky, or some of the teams, had tried harder. Even if they had to cut the season short. Cases are down significantly nationally, after a busy July and early August. Still only 3 deaths in Missoula and Gallatin counties, I believe.

Central Arkansas has a pretty nice looking schedule. Only 3 scheduled home games but great prep for the future if these games (or even some) happen.

Central Arkansas:
-vs. Austin Peay (OVC playoff team)
-@ UAB (FBS Conference USA...wonder how much they will make if FBS games happen)
-@ Arkansas State (FBS Sun Belt)
-vs. Missouri State (MVFC)
-@ NDSU (I think they made the playoffs last year and possibly the year before)
-@ Eastern Kentucky (OVC but 2nd most playoff appearances, I think?)
-@ Missouri State (MVFC)
-vs. Eastern Kentucky (see above)
-@ Louisiana-Lafayette (FBS Sun Belt)

Nope, you’re thinking of UND. Once last year and once in ‘16. Lost em both too. Poor representation for the Big Sky. That’s why we kicked em out.

We never kicked them out; the BSC never kicks anybody out. They left once they had an offer from the MVFC, which is in their backyard. Glad to see them gone, though, a win-win. They no more liked traveling to CPSLO and Flagstaff than most of the conference liked traveling to Grand Forks.

You spin it your way, I’ll spin it mine.

smooth nicely done you got at least one person lol.

I have my doubts about these games being played.

University of Alabama had nearly 600 cases in less than a week after opening. Roll tide.

Facts on my part; spin on yours.

Agree, these make little sense. Unlike the P5, the revenue is negative. And the risk is real.

The Alabama Corona parties had a large part to do with that. Roll on over tide.

I agree.

But do you not think there will be large parties at any university which opens? The track record ain't so good so far.

I’d definitely agree but the contrast is most the parties sole purpose isn’t to pass along the virus, much like they’re doing in Tuscaloosa.
