2019 MT High School Football Season

Sentinel steamrolled Hellgate. Lee with about 20 for 180ish and 3. I think he went over 200 in total yards (+punts)
 
Got to watch Mellott play last night. Butte rolled Flathead 38-0. Butte had 673 total yards of offense. Mellott was 14/26 for 276, two passing TDs, no INTs, and kameron Moreno rushed for 221 and 3 tuddies.

Week 9 is up. Biggest game this weekend in the West is crosstown in Helena. Winner gets the #3 seed in the West. Biggest game in the East is Bozeman vs. Billings West. Winner gets the #1 seed in the East.

I think Butte, Bozeman, Sentinel, and one of the Helena schools can give them a shot. But I agree, West has the most talent and they're great at home.

How is this possible? Sentinel beat both Helena teams and their only loss was a last second FG by butte. Are you assuming they lose tonight or something?

I updated. Made a mistake. Forgot Butte moved to the West for a second.

If Butte and Sentinel both win tonight, I believe Butte gets the bye because only 7 teams in the East, and Sentinel will get either Skyview or Belgrade.

Bozeman is taking down West tonight! I’ve never cheered so hard for a Bozeman team in my life.

I went over to Butte a few weeks ago and watched Butte crush Capital and have to say that I was quite impressed with Butte and their quarterback Tommy Mellott.

All's I can say is that it will take a damn good team to beat them for the state championship.

Could just as easily be a Butte vs. Missoula Sentinel final. I'm just glad there isn't a real true power in AA this year. Sure, Butte is undefeated but they didn't play Billings West and their annual rival Bozeman this year. However, the same could be said for the two teams from the East. Also, teams like Helena Capital, Kalispell Glacier, Helena High, Billings Senior, and even Great Falls High & Missoula Hellgate have athletes that can hang with anyone. Shaping up to be a really good quarterfinal in my opinion.
