Horner & Curran are now the main dudes returning.

Josh Janssen might be ripe to get in the mix of things. Also would be good to see Reese Carlson make a strong comeback.

Lyons and some of the guys red shirting like Daum and Ryan should rise up too.

How come Janssen barely saw the field this year? Thought he looked great at the end of 2014.?

I have no direct idea why. I'd heard he wasn't getting it for a while. I also did observe some drops and bad routes in both spring and fall - but it wasn't horribly bad, plenty of other WRs had way more issues. Maybe he's up to speed now? I hope he is, based on 2014 you'd think he could really be an impact player.

Josh Janssen:

Sweet Jesus! We have very little Griz production returning at WR from 2015.

Looks like some new heroes will be made in 2016 and beyond...

Very good question. I observed the same quality performance in 2014, even a TD against WY. So why the lack of time last year? Will he see more time in 2016?

Janson played behind some pretty good players in 2015. Roberts and Henderson did not play in 2014 and both are better receivers. We will see what he can do this spring wish em the best of luck.

grizaremoregooder nailed it. Ben Roberts and Ellis Henderson were a big part of why so little run for Josh. Not the only reasons, but two very big reasons. The emergence of Horner pushed him down the chart too.

Janssen avg 1 catch a game in 2014.

The guys above this nailed it, there was no Henderson and Roberts in 2014.

I hope he gets another serious chance. 17 yards per catch and three TDs in fairly limited action is nothing to sneeze at. Understand what guys are saying about Henderson, Roberts and Horner pushing him down the chart, but I also see potential impact player.

Corbin is a verbal and if the Griz get Samori Toure I got to believe that some of the players on this list wont be around or will move to other positions. (IE Calhoun used to be a DB, Bingham a DE)

JR Homan - 6'2", 174
JR Horner - 6'5", 220
JR Janssen - 6'0, 195
SO Carlson - 6'4" 205

A pretty young & crowded field in relationship to the remaining positions that need to be filled/maintained. Not sure there's going to be room for some of the "older" guys coach might covet. I have to believe we have youngsters on the roster that are as good as any of those @ EWU & elsewhere.
