Strahm, Buss, Vis, Thomas, Sirmon........quit over rating KVA
Vis is gone-zo from what I've heard.

Love the way Strahm played this year, I'm hoping he likes the changes that will be made on defense....a guy with his attitude could be a stud for us. Buss played great when he was in as well.

Gonna go out on a limb and predict that Dante Olson, Cy Sirmon, and David Fa'autise (I tried) will dominate the same way Tripp, Coyle, and Kanangata did.

I believe Connor Straham has all but locked up one of the starting positions.

I would hope Connor Straham starts. Connor, from Eugene, Ore., was selected as the team's hardest hitter as the recipient of the Golden Helmet Award, and was also recognized as the special teams player of the year with the Hauck Family Award. Strahm has played in every game thus far in his two years at UM.

Strahams' high school teammate from Sheldon, Jimmy Banks, might be joining him a lot on the field as well.

I love the young linebackers...

Out on a limb? Think you are past the end of the limb already.

What? When/where did you hear that? That's the first mention of it I've seen on this board...

10/28. - via Twitter - AJ confirms him having left the team earlier in the fall.

Those guys will easily surpass what those guys did.

"It's a done deal"

Of that group as seniors, only Coyle was a dominating player. Tripp was without any lane discipline and all over the field trying to play several positions at once and constantly getting himself out of position and leaving Kanongata out on a limb. Many of his tackles came after large gains. You must have missed games like NAU, EWU and Coastal Carolina. KVA, Kose and Gamboa played behind an undersized DL, and held the D together. Exceptional range and speed as a group. Both groups were good and the new guys have big shoes to fill.

Josh Sandry - S

thought for sure you were going to say Willy Pflug......

The only thing I missed in 2015 was a bold prediction that Sandy would contribute as a true freshman. I was pretty much spot on everything in regards to Stitt, his offense, and who he would utilize.

How bout yourself, box? Miss anything? :thumb:
