You don't care how fast he runs? I've seen his hudl clip countless times. There is no-way any teams in that high school conference could have won games in the Big Sky, and he runs the same speed as many of the Big Sky Safeties.

I do totally agree with you that he has tremendous quickness however. But that is different than speed.

Regardless, we both agree the kid is a major talent, abso-frick-in-lootly!
It's track. Track is a poor measurable for football players because a good percentage don''t give half a shit about track. Additionally, the 100m only accounts for top end speed, Justin Calhoun GETS UP TO TOP SPEED incredibly fast. THAT is how you really measure speed on the football field, you don't want a receiver that takes 10+ yards before they are really moving.....Calhoun gets up to top speed almost instantly.

He and his brother will burn up the big sky.

Re-watch Stitt's 2015 signing day press conference... he cares about speed, and said one of those players will ADD YEARS to his life by taking it into the end zone so he (Stitt) doesn't have to end up calling red zone and +10 plays because his player got run down. That player is a track kid.

So do I. And if I could maintain it, I'd do 100 yards in about 20 secs. :)

You know what I love, we all disagree with one and another YET we all will waste one precious vote to agree that THE CATS SUCK.

We're replacing all three LB's. Better hope two of those have "breakout" seasons...

Nope, the talent at that position coming in easily equals what bailed and now we have a real DC so he sky is the limit.
Who equals the talent of KVA?

Strahm, Buss, Vis, Thomas, Sirmon........quit over rating KVA

Rewatching the epic NDSU kickoff game. Also, found this cool film study of the last play of the game. I think Stitt needs to use Horner and Carlson together; if you re-watch the game, both were open a ton. It would be hard to defend both of them.

Against guys that have no rating at all. What has been obvious for two years is that whenever KVA was out of the lineup, the D took several steps downward. Best example; CPSLO 2014; tight game until KVA goes out with concussion symptoms. Replaced by your man Strahm. CPSLO abused him; he had no chance of holding the edge as KVA had done. KVA had exceptional closing speed on tackles; your guys have a lot to prove.

All were recruited by Delaney

KVA ranks right up there along side the best linebackers to ever play for UM. Among other things, he had great natural instincts to get in position to make plays, and he made many big plays.
