What's the deal with Ralston? Did he get hurt? When? Did he make it back?

LT - Schmaing/Thiebes
LG - Todd/Luke
C - Weyer/Luke
RG - Dietrich/Kelly
RT - Reese/LaRowe
This should be a very solid, experienced group. The only variable will be how much change in schemes will happen with a different coaching staff.
I agree on Schmaing, Reese, Weyer, Dietrich as having a leg up as of right now on starting next year. Mick Delaney, on the Grizzly Sports Report of the season, mentioned these 4 players as standouts next season. He said he believes Reese will be as good as there is (eventually), although he played very light as a true freshman, in the high 250s to low 260s, at 6'7". He said Weyer was a tough kid.
I'm extremely high on the OL verbals, although I hope we are good enough with what we have already so that the verbals can red-shirt for long-term success of the program.
Reese weighed 253 as of about 6 weeks ago. Thiebes will be much heavier by spring, and I assume could get back into the mix. Was injured most of the season.
Nobody is talking much about Counts. Joey was a stud runner before he got hurt and if he picks up where he left off he will be a force to deal with.AllWeatherFan said:I will be surprised if Favors doesn't emerge as one of the top 2 backs.

That is disappointing. Feel bad for him!
I really like Logwood. He's strong AND quick. Nguyen might b the starter but I think Logwood will take alot of time from Counts and by the end of the year may pass up Nguyen. Favors once again will be gettin reps in garbage time again.BWahlberg said:grizeyes said:Nobody is talking much about Counts. We're certainly re-loading at running back. Counts, Nguyen, Favors, and Logwood. Add in Jamaal Wilson to block. Great group and they'll have a very experienced Oline as well.
And quarterback will be wide-open, with holdovers like Makena Simis and Will Meyer possibly battling with top recruit Willy Pflug
