I have a buddy who's son plays in the same league with Baker and the other kid. They are getting a lot more attention from Pac12 dogs. That they come here is far from certain, though we can hope, dudes are players. We will see.
 
In any event, to get and keep these early commits I believe we need to win many more games this season. Kids like to come to a team that wins games.
Excellent bunch of young men that will help the Griz remain strong and keep our win tradition going!
 
Seems like the "whatever it was" that's helping us get these recruits turned out to be the football ops building, don't you think?

I'm sure the coaches constantly ask something like "How would you like to be part of GRIZ football taken to a new level in these upcoming facilities?" At the very least it gets recruits, parents, and influential decision makers to think about the GRIZ even more. :thumb:

Baker and Neale are both 3-star recruits, every 3-star recruit during their Senior season will be drawing attention from FBS teams in their region.

I like the odds of us landing these two stand-outs.

I've always been a fan of the little guy positions in football, but I've come really appreciate the big guys in recent years. We need Alex Neale, he takes out his defender on every play...he (and guys like him) will lead UM to unprecedented success. Games are won in the trenches.

WR Kyle Sweet 6'1" 175 (Santa Margarita Catholic) San Margarita, CA- 3Star [4 FCS Offers]

This is an interesting UM Offer.

Sweet played varsity starting halfway threw his Freshman year and into the state championship at WR. He played QB his Sophomore year, for the #1 HS team in the country, after their star QB tore his Achiles (Johnny Stanton who committed to Nebraska). He then played WR his Junior and Senior seasons, racking up over 2,100 yards receiving those two years. His high school teams have been tremendously talented teams...highly ranked...
