Danny Peoples, Presumably on as a Kicker, but can also punt well and a QB of course. Scary kid to have back there when 4th down is just another offensive opportunity! I mentioned him earlier. Glad to see him a GRIZ!

I was checking on a couple of the transfers, and noticed that Markell Sanders was a two star coming out of high school and Chalich was a 3 star, not that it matters, but thought you might update it on the first page if you want.

Kyle - is Sanders one of the guys on your list? I don't think you included him in your reply on how many WR's are in the upcoming class.

As far as I know he's coming here as a defensive back

agreed. I don't think he was ever really on UM's radar. I think sometimes on the internet, it's more a case of mistaken identity with school names. Kind of like the kid that was thought to have committed to UM and it turned out he was actually going to Tech. I think this was a similar deal from what I was told.

Recruiting @ this level is more often regional - parents @ least have a shot of seeing their kids play. For those of us too self absorbed in our backyard and not enough time right now, what's your assessment on the recruiting progress in bison land?

Montana recuits in the Northwest primarily, and I'd imagine you guys go to the midwest mostly? Although I have seen on egriz that you were pursuing one of our RB's that we got the other year, Favors. Good looking group you have too though! Cant wait until next August!

NDSU beat out Purdue, Air Force Army Wyoming as well as MAC teams.
OL kid who turned down an Oregon PWO

Got #1 WR & RB out of Minnesota including player of the year. 11 Minnesota kids in all.
good batch of D Lineman and 2 speedsters (1 from Milwaukee & Florida)
Didn't lose a recruit to other Dakota schools outside a kicker who was a legacy & QB that wouldn't play anyways to sdsu.

Griz not true, we offer a QB every class. He chose sdsu because A) he's from SD and B) wentz in 15, Easton Stick 16-18 (kid turned down a big 10 offer...Rutgers & 5 FBS schools) He made the right choice and NDSU never plays that card
