Saw another site that had him listed as a 4.6, which looks closer to true (I know, I know, it's hard to tell because you can't know the level of competition). He had good speed compared to those on the field, let's put it that way. ;)

Amazing how different sites have different information listed for the recruits. I did not watch his video there. I saw the 4.8 speed and lost interest in him possibly playing safety. I was very impressed with Rook's video though.

Update: I just watched his video. I think his speed is between 4.65 and 4.7. It looked to me that the listed 4.8 is not accurate. He is more nimble and quick than fast. I did not see break away speed. I am impressed by field vision and keeping his head up and eyes on the field when he scrambles. He does not have a strong arm, but passes with great touch. His passes are very catchable. He has terrific footwork too. Wallace is a solid athlete.

I'm thinking his speed is between 4.63782 and 4.640003. I agree, the 4.8 is not accurate.

You must be new at this. This kid is clearly above 4.65333. Not quite 4.6777 slow, but sub 4.640003 is flat out laughable.
I heard he doesn't come from a good family but an OK family. That takes .0000496 off of his 40 time.

Let me make one thing perfectly clear, I wish UM could sign them all, but...

My Wishlist
1- WR Jayson Williams 6'1" 185 (Lincoln HS) Tacoma, WA 3-Star "Wow, watch his film!"
2- S/CB James Jones IV 6'1" 175 (Mullin HS) Denver, CO 3-Star "Awesome Athlete"
3- OL Ben Puapuaga 6'4" 290 (Lincoln HS) Tacoma, WA "Top 10 pre-season OL in Washington"
4- DL Sampson Saluone 6'1" 300 (Orem HS) Orem, UT 2-Star "Man among boys"
5- OL Riley Gallant 6'6" 285 (Central Catholic) Gresham, OR "Great player... Great school"
6- S Dehonta Hayes 5'11" 185 (Lincoln HS) Tacoma, WA 2-Star "Fast rising Playmaker"
7- Flip WR- Cameron Sutton, DL-Marcus Ferriter or OL-Bryan Wilkes from msu.

Most likely to sign on Wed.
1- LB Sawyer Shields 6'3" 225 (Eagle HS) Eagle, ID. 2-Star

Extreme longshots-either would be a great get
1- RB Charlie Davidson 5'10" 200 (Blackman HS) Murfreesboro, TN 3-Star [10 Offers]
2- S Je'Vari Anderson 6'1" 200 (De La Salle HS) Concord, CA 3-Star (Has 5+ FBS Offers)

If his 4.8 40 listed at hudl is close to accurate, that is not Div 1 safety speed. Can he add .15 to .20 to his speed?

4.63782 was clearly wind-aided. Any fool can see that he's 4.63784 at best.

Payton, I like your list, I see Ferriter was here this weekend & confirmed hell stay MSU, but I see Wilkes is on walk on w/ MSU, I think he's the steal of the OL, he can play all postions well.

Jayson williams and Dehonta Hayes will both end up eagles... James Jones IV has 10 offers including 4 FBS (all 3 military academies + Hawaii)

With as many receivers that have verbally committed and the guys returning, won't it scare off other maybe more talented receivers (like Jayson Williams etc.) considering coming here? Not dogging who we have already, don't get me wrong. This is a great class already. I know this offense will use a lot of receivers, but I'm sure some guys feel they will want to be a featured receiver at some point in their careers.

Thanks for all the help keeping things accurate.

The last thing i want to do is mis-represent anything.

I'm sure a few WR recruits may get spooked seeing so many others committing or getting offers. Though we don't want "that guy" who doesn't see himself as being good enough to work his way to the top. If he is afraid to compete on the practice field he certainly isn't going to excel on the field on game day. :ugeek:

Payton,

I was checking on a couple of the transfers, and noticed that Markell Sanders was a two star coming out of high school and Chalich was a 3 star, not that it matters, but thought you might update it on the first page if you want.

thanks for everything!!

Kyle - is Sanders one of the guys on your list? I don't think you included him in your reply on how many WR's are in the upcoming class.

As far as I know he's coming here as a defensive back
