Well, if commits hold on what we're hearing, that would make 6 3-star recruits so far. Everybody's got an opinion on this, I tend to think it's a very good sign.

A friend of mine who is a huge MWC and Pac 12 fan, which he follows like we do the GRIZ, emailed me this class is a top 50 BCS class. That is providing we get everyone we are going after. Compared to MWC schools, it would rank in their top 4 classes, maybe high as 2nd. This class would be competitive in in PAC12 standards. :thumb:

As for Kamron Johnson, he compared him to Lex Hilliard. He feels the kid is best suited for safety or OLB, where his ceiling is much higher.

Hopefully we can keep all of these top rated recruits. Top 4 in the MWC is a flat out great class. If Kamron Johnson is another Lex Hilliard, that would also be absolutely fantastic. Lex was a terrific back.

Baker was at NM State this weekend while Ena was at Colorado State. If we land these two, this class (on paper) is the best I've ever seen at UM! :clap:

My comment was intended to indicate that a comparison to Lex is a great compliment. It certainly does not mean that he must be a clone of Lex Hilliard. Here is to hoping that Kamron has a wonderful career as a Griz, whatever his running style ends up being.

I don't think anyone misconstrued your post BT. Relax, we appreciate the info. I think you're spot on. He reminds me of a "Lex" or "Justin Green"type. If he becomes more of the head hunter type, MooreDozer reincarnated.

Way to early to say "I told you so" ....but I want to!

Let's wait until they are all signed and rolling but this is the BEST POTENTIAL RECRUITING GROUP I have ever been aware of in 50 years of my observing Griz football.

With our new coaches and this potential class of great young men this bodes extremely well for our Griz Program.

I think the New construction with the Academic center, state of the art Athletic center and locker rooms are helping us get all these 2 and 3 star players. Poor lil kitties only have 1-3 star and he was what the Griz turned away. Poor puddy cats!

I agree that the new facilities along with everything else that is GRIZ are huge in deciding to join the GRIZ family. BUT, I also strongly believe that the desire to play in an exciting game of football which I can only describe at this point as "Bob Stitt football" is having an enormous positive effect on recruits lining up for an experience of a lifetime!

I totally agree. Now if we can nail down Sims as a WR and Bingham for our Defense this class would be absolutely incredible.

It seems to me that Stitt is doing the recruiting equivalent of this Vince Carter dunk on ron ash and the cats. Stitt is essentially tea-bagging the cats. Pretty brutal to watch.

I agree with this. Just one correction. Ron Ash is a life coach and Rob Ash is the coach of the bobcats.
