I just watched this again. Listening to Kent Haslam, then Coach Stitt again, this fan is so jacked for GRIZ football. How can't anyone get jacked to be part of GRIZ NATION? For the recruits and families with their son hanging and/or trying to decide still, watch this, then reassure your son, he is meant to be a Montana GRIZ!!!

Figured this one was coming. I don't think we'll see Sims at UM either. Some people don't want to hear this but TE is just not going to be a recruiting priority or an emphasis in Stitt's O.

Tight End and Fullback positions aren't really part of this offense. There is no short yardage heavy set. I'm assuming current players will transition from TE or FB to other positions if they fit.

Figured this one was coming. I don't think we'll see Sims at UM either. Some people don't want to hear this but TE is just not going to be a recruiting priority or an emphasis in Stitt's O.

We could be recruiting Sims at DE though. The real question is how many commitable offers does Sims have? Both Oregon State and Colorado State have brand new coaching staff's. There's a possibility he isn't being recruited by those staffs and I seriously doubt Toledo has been actively recruiting him. When it's all said and done Montana and MSU might be his only commitable offers. And if he wants to play TE I don't like our chances

I wonder what is so appealing about playing at Idaho. From a football perspective, I would think that playing FCS at a powerhouse that is UM as a walk on would be better than a full ride at Idaho..... Okay, maybe I'm biased.

Idaho has some appeal. Look at the excitement on egriz about Chalich transferring to Montana. Would anyone be that excited if he was transferring from NAU or Cal Poly? Just to name two teams that are better than the Vandals.

Just because Idaho as a team sucks, it does not mean that every player does.

Literally and technically that may be true. However, it is also true that the vast majority of the Idaho players suck and couldnt start here. I see no need to get excited about anyone from arguably one of the worst programs in the country.

After reading whats bring said on twitter & others, our OL recruits we have committed look like they might b looking to go elsewhere. Hope the coaches are on the phones 8am tomorrow rercruiting for some more beef

Judging by your username, I'm guessing you are familiar with some Idaho high school football? Have you seen much of Chalich and Simis, what's your take on the two of them? I'm guessing this is who the battle for starter will come down to.

I've seen Chalich play several times in person and he was always impressive. I've only seen Simis hudl highlights. Not knocking Simis in any way as they are similar QBs, but in my opinion, Chalich has a better arm and is faster. He also won 2 state championships. The CDA program produces some very good football players. Check out Drew Berger's hudl and tell me he wouldn't look good in maroon and silver. Only problem is he's committed to bsu. One can dream.
