Coach Stitt...

Please get on the phone with Tyree Range!!!!

Yeah, call Tyree Range and tell him there's a new coach and all recruits are being reevaluated. Tell him the new coach has added several new prospects to the list, but scholarships are still limited. Committing now might be the safe bet.

Is there any word on Tyree since the coaching change? It still shows that he's a Montana commit in the San Diego Union but that was a few weeks back. I heard rumors of some FBS
Interest in him. Who knows? He's a nice player though......

In the middle of October, with Colorado State offering and a few larger schools showing interest and he decommitted. Unfortunately for him (and may be a blessing for UM) he hurt his leg. After watching his film, I dont think UM could have kept him.

This happens quit abit and I truly hope the new coaching staff has kept in contact. This guy is a stud and if Coach Stitt wants his 1000 yard rusher... here he is!!!

Tyree... if you are seeing this, Choosing UM will be a blessing to Griz fans and a blessing to you also. This is the greatest family in college football.
range had 377 yards and eight tds in the first three games. what did he finish the year with?

Tyree...if he comes will play right away. He will get four years of excellent playing and with a chance to move on when he is done being a Griz. Also he will have a very good supporting cast so he will not get over worked and become injured. Come hither man, become a Griz!

But do you really wish to burden a new coaching staff, as far as it goes, to commit to a player coming off, not just a 'hurt his leg,' as the euphemism is, to a left knee injury that required a being carted off the field and the subseqent leaving of the stadium? This done in a game Rancho Bernardo was playing against Mt. Carmel, 24 October: http://www.kusi.com/category/290102/ppr-week-9" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Under the Heading 'Top Stories,' check the 27th game down the list and watch the sequence that resulted in the injury, about the :21 to :25 second interval. And you still think he'd be a viable player for four years for the Griz?

This is a week after the game interview:

And a subsequent interview:

Yes! That is how we got Tyler Joyce!

I feel kinda bad for him. Tyree had really come on before the injury. Two of the FBS schools he mentioned as having interest in him, OSU and CSU, had coaching changes. That doesn't bode well for him. Unfortunately for Tyree, I can't see Utah having much interest now either. Maybe UM can take the risk? The FCS could be an excellent place for him to rehab and come back.......

Eastside Catholic was on ESPN playing Trinity Christian this morning. That center the Griz are after looked great. Good feet.

Yes, he did. Baker looked "ok", but Neale looked terrific.

I hope you guys know the Neale kid did not play center for Eastside, he is #70 and played right guard. He is big and really does have excellent feet and good technique. He will be a 4 year starter for the Griz if he keeps his commitment. The D end Cole has very good size with good speed for a DE, but seems a tad lazy. I think he would be an amazing DT with a year of major weight room effort and 25 pounds added weight. He too, could be a 4 year starter for the Griz with a redshirt year.

Yes, I'm aware Neale didn't play center. Baker played a LOT both ways...maybe that's why he looked tired all the time.

The back from Trinity that got called for taunting is a Utah commit. Huge talent with excellent speed but needs some growing up.

If you're talking about Chris Carr, he was by FAR the best athlete on the field that day. Wow.

Chris Barr was his name 5 rushes for 111 yds. Did verbal to Utah but now has opened up visits to other campuses. Wisconsin and Rutgers among others. Utah should be worried about keeping him.

Yeah, Chris Barr. Looked more like "Oregon" material than Utah.

I hope we offer Dayzell Wilson from Bothell, he has 6 catches for 110 yards and 2 tds vs Miami Central in this Washington Florida bowl game, keep him away from Eastern.

Jerrin may in fact be wavering, but he doesn't indicate that via twitter. But havgrizfan usually has solid info, so it is concerning.
