2 more Griz wins versus the cats, in the well over a century long series (which started in 1897), will have the Griz winning twice as many games. IT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE

The Griz just keep pulling away from little brother.

You KNOW our Griz verbals JUST LOVED last weekends massacre.
+1.

OMG! WE'RE LOSING THE IN-STATE RECRUITING WAR TO THE cats!

Yes, we are, and have been since Hauck left. Might want to check out how many Montana kids are starting today for MSU out of the 22 starters, then compare it to the 2 Montana kids who start for us out of the 22 starters. But then, don't let the facts keep you from denial.

34-7. Don't let facts keep you from denial. With the very, VERY rare exception, we get EVERY Montana kid we want. At one point Peevey, Crittenden, Rehm and Wags were ALL in the game at the same time and absolutely DOMINATING that MSU offensive line that has played together all season (and has a couple starters from the state of Montana on it, I believe).

Complete and utter PWNAGE. You can have Bleskin, Newell, McQueary, Brekke, etc., etc. and finish BEHIND the Griz or you can have superior players at every position and bend the Bobcats over....your choice.

We didn't try hard to get Brekke and McQueary, huh AZ? RIGHT! We never requited, or wanted Newell and Bleskin. You such a homer idiot. You embarrass yourself routinely with stupid posts, this being one of them.

During this past week, Griz vs cat week, Bleskin was interviewed on the local CBS news station by his teammate (Safety Rob Marshall, who is an intern for the station and does weekly sport pieces). When Marshall asked Bleskin about the big up-coming Griz game, Bleskin said, "I grew up a Griz fan.".

So Bleskin didn't choose state over UM because he liked them better.

Mick commented either on last week's radio show or on last week's tv show that they recruited Bleskin very hard at qb and did everything to try and get him despite the fact his brother was already with the cats. I will guess that having a brother already playing for the cats strongly influenced the decision.

Not exactly sure...but it looks like Tyree Range had a possible injury of some sort? Did we pull our offer or do we have an even better chance at this kid now?

He had what looks to be a significant injury and he is not telling anyone publicly what it is. I very much doubt we would pull the offer, the dude is a difference maker. He would most likely have been the starting running back next year. I hope we reel him back in, even if he may have to redshirt now. I hope we land Sam McPherson as well, even though he just had surgery to repair his ACL.

We did not pull our offer. He de-committed when he started picking up more offers. This might actually cause some of them to pull back. I hope Green gives him a call and lets him know we are still interested.

Just wondering if the Griz are recruiting Cooper Kupps little brother? I believe his name is Ketner.....anyway he was at the FargoDome for the Youngstown St game. I don't know how that came about, because we don't really recruit WA, so maybe he contacted us. Just wondering what you guys have heard about him and if the Griz were recruiting him as well. He plays LB and his film is pretty impressive.....seems to be a big hitter.

I don't believe so. EWU has offered.

Just hope the Griz don't get burned by him in the future like they have been with Cooper.

Of course we will. It is bound to happen. We have hits and misses. Unfortunately, we can't offer everyone, especially being short scholarships. The quality of athletes coming out is much higher now as well. There are a lot of good football players out there.

You hit it on the head, the Bleskins brothers are extremely tight. One the tv bobcat sports report, the QB was asked if he was stranded on a deserted island what would he want with him, and he replied his brother.

Yes, we can not offer everyone, but Cooper was a big miss.

Not saying I want the Griz to offer Ketner or that he will be a force like Cooper, just that I hope he doesn't turn out to be like Cooper if we don't offer him.

I have heard that Mike Tilleman, who is a large booster for the Griz and one of the former Griz greats, was really harping on the coaching staff to go after the kid, he played with Cooper's grand dad Jake in the NFL and knew Cooper's abilities.

Cooper is the hardest worker on his team and is a model citizen, which the Griz can always use.

Sweet Jesus, Cooper Kupp has been the best player in the BSC the past 2 years, and they were only his FR and SO seasons :!:

Coach Delaney called him the league MVP this season, as a SO!

He is a national championship in a bottle.

I never thought I would forget Brandon Kaufman so quickly.

Word out of Butte is that buddy Brekke is working hard on Daum to come to MSU and he is leaning that way.

That's not very good news. Did Daum not watch the game last week?!?!?!?!

I don't think the Bison have offered him yet, as we are after a couple of pretty big time LBers out of WI, but he did come for a visit. Not sure if it was an official visit or not, was just seeing what you guys had heard about the guy and who has all offered him. Is EWU his only DI offer or does he have others?

Ahhhh, recruiting Montana is interesting. A former Butte Bulldog who goes to college in Havre and is very good friends with Daum tells me the EXACT opposite. That if he's staying in-state it's the Griz and no one else. Just asked her about it two weeks ago. But, again, the rumors fly and maybe she was just telling me that because she knows I'm a diehard Griz fan.

Why anyone would choose the cats over the griz, unless it was purely academics and the field they were wanting to go in is beyond me. They say history repeats itself, if so, its only going to get worse.
