Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I see that Duarte High offensive tackle Angel Villanueva has verbally committed to the Griz!

this is going beyond a very good class to a great class, what is happening???? this guy is the real deal !!!! the coaches are on fire.....I hope we can actually sign these guys, very exciting indeed.

Nice catch. This is another 2-star prospect and he brings much needed beef to the o-line. Great job coaches!!

The block he makes at the 56 second mark of the video, against a guy every bit as big as he is, combined with the footwork he displays on all of the pulling guard plays shows me everything I need to know about this kid. Also LOVE the play where he's the FIRST guy down the field after the RB who scores a long TD...a 300 lb guard who runs the entire length of the field to be the first to congratulate the RB!

Love his attitude and the way he plays. :clap: :clap:

I love to see this class bonding already. So much of a particular class's success is dependent upon the bond they share and the commitment they have to each other. It looks like this class has leaders who understand that and are already working to build it. Awesome!

It's two separate offers there AZ. One is the QB NDSU commit Braden Sikes, the other is an OL out of Cali; Clayton Jimerson. Their highlights follow the tweets.

I have met Chris and his younger brother at a high school college fair @ Mt. Si that I have done the last two years. Both come across as real character young men not to mention the size of Chris!

This, and the other OL verbals, is what is going to put more trophies in the Hall of Champions!

We put 3 OL in NFL camps this season, looks like this class will be putting more in the future.

Griz verbal commit OL Chris Schlichting 6'5" 275 (Mount Si HS) Snoqualmie, WA (2-Star) had quite the spring. In late May he was offered by Montana and then about 10 days later, in early June, he won the OL MVP of the NWEFC (Northwest Elite Football Camp). Which is the biggest one-day football camp on the West Coast (Seattle). Dedicated to connecting hungry players with Coaches from D1 - D3 football programs.
