2014 UM at NDSU

There are 16 juniors on the roster. 24 seniors is only 22% of the 109 players listed on the official roster which is only about half of "almost half of the roster."

Going to this game really drunk is the best way to deal with what is going to happen to us when we get there. Seriously, drink what you normally would then add 5 more, its going to be a long weekend.

:coffee:
Hopefully the Griz can put together a better scheme than last year otherwise I might agree with ya. But I've got high hopes since Square Head State is losing 24 seniors and 18 starters. Yeah, I know they rotate a lot but what team don't? 24 seniors is almost half the roster. I think I read that only 12 are stepping up as seniors. Thats a grip of juniors and sophomores on that squad next season against our senior majority offense. We'll see what happens I guess...

420 posted a link. I'm deciding on how to go aboit this. I'm in Billings also. Havre is probably the best option. From the sounds of it there is a new airline here that covers Montana and all flights are $50 each way and there is a direct flight to Havre. The only thing I'm worried about with flyin is if I can get on the plane after the ride back from Fargo  But I'm leaning towards Havre but just not 100% on witch would be closer, Havre or Wolf Point. Havre is a major station and more seating will likely be available when boarding.

Flying from Billings then taking the train brings two questions to mind;
1) If you fly to Wolf Point is there cab service to the train station? Doubt it exists.
2) In Havre or Wolf Point, how do arrival/departure times for the planes & trains coincide?
Compare carefully, you may find a highline overnight is needed on one end or the other.

Yeah I'm just gonna drive up there. It save a headache I think. And if I can't drive once i get back and off the train I'll just get a room.

Ok, Havre it is!!

NDSU loses 24 seniors but 14 ( I think) starters return. QB,FB, RB, 3 on the OL, and MLB and a couple DL are gone. Also a wide receiver. They will be far from decimated. Depends on the new QB playing well.

I'm looking forward to this game next year. More FCS teams need to do this kind of scheduling.

Quite a few question marks for the Bison: coaching staff, new QB, 24 seniors graduating.

One thing that will keep the Bison in all of their games next year is defense. 6 starters return plus many other guys that saw significant playing time. The big question mark on defense is DT. The Bison lost 4 seniors there. 2 true freshman and 1 RFR will need to step up and fill the departing senior's shoes. Maybe the coaches bring in a transfer to help with depth. LB and secondary will be loaded.

QB is also the other question mark. Can Wentz live up to his hype? He has all of the physical skills, now he needs to prove he can lead the team.

Very good test for both teams.

I have this feeling that this train ride will be one to be remembered. I have got to get my laurel friends up here to take the train from havre with us.

Hammer, Havre has IT. Haha. Yes, Havre or I guess Shelby would make sense too, as its all I15 from Butte.

Ha Ha, not sure what "it" is but I spent a year in Havre building the casino outside of Box Elder. We had a lot of fun up there. The Bears Paw mountains are really cool, the best nachos I ever had were at 15 West, and if you want to hook up hit the golden spike!!!
